Ansel Easton Adams (February 20, 1902 – April 22, 1984) is probably the most well-known national park photographer of all time. His work is still highly valued today and his images continue to command record fees at auctions. In 1968, his images were featured on a series of posters created by the Department of the Interior and National Park Service.

Saguaro National Park, located in Arizona, is home to the iconic saguaro cacti, symbolizing the American Southwest. The park offers scenic hiking trails, breathtaking desert landscapes, and a chance to observe diverse wildlife, making it a captivating destination for nature lovers and desert enthusiasts.

One of the most interesting things about these posters is the logo. The intertwined triangles and 3 dots served as the official logo of the National Park Service from 1966-1969, although it was not popular with visitors and the arrowhead returned.

As this poster hasn’t been in print for over 55 years, we had to go back to the drawing board and recreate them from scratch.
